The Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival typically attracts 50,000 spectators and has a direct economic impact of more than $6 million dollars for the City of Wilton Manors, according to an independent economic impact study. Stonewall Pride celebrates the historic Stonewall Riots and the start of the LGBTQ+ human rights movement and how it has shaped our community.

Q: When is the Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival?

A: The Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival takes place on Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors on Saturday, June 15, 2024. The Block Party Festival and all-day entertainment starts at 3pm followed by a Glow Night Parade at 8pm. The event ends at 11pm.

 

Q: Can I park for free?

A: We strongly recommend ridesharing, carpooling and public transportation to get to and from the event as there is limited parking. There is no free parking in Wilton Manors for anyone including vendors and parade participants. Parking ranges from $10 to $30 depending on where you decide to park. All City of Wilton Manors lots including Hagen Park and meters are $20. Limited handicap parking is available at Hagen Park and is also $20.

 

Q: Do I have to buy a ticket to attend?

A: Yes, there is a $13 admission for adults and children aged 12 and over. Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride is Cashless at all Entrances, VIP and Lounges. This money is used to pay for public safety and security and the $1,000,000 price tag of producing the event. However, you can purchase tickets in advance for only $10 HERE.

Q: How many stages will there be and who will be performing?

A: There will be 7 stages and 16 bars spread out along Wilton Drive offering a variety of entertainment throughout the day.

 

Q: If I reserved a booth, do I have to pay to enter the festival?

A: Yes, the vendor fee is just for the booth. Anyone working at the booth needs to purchase a vendor participant ticket. This is different from the past practice.

 

Q: If I’m in the parade, do I have to pay to enter the parade staging area?

A: Yes. Anyone participating in the parade needs a parade participant ticket. The is no free entry to be involved in the parade. If you are in the the parade AND a vendor purchase a parade participant ticket. The parade ticket allows access to the festival and vendor set up.

 

Q: I registered for the parade. Where is the line-up?

A: Parade participants will be e-mailed detailed instructions 7 days in advance.

 

Q: Who are the parade Grand Marshals?

A: We will announce the Grand Marshals at a later date. 

 

Q: Will Wilton Drive be closed to traffic for the event on June 15th?

A: Yes. Wilton Drive will be closed at 4am Saturday from NE 20th street to Five Points and will not be reopened until 6am on Sunday morning.

 

Q: Are there security precautions — and what is NOT allowed?

A: Yes, there are: NO weapons, illegal substances or nudity of any kind are allowed at the event. Drones, skateboards, bikes, and electric vehicles are also prohibited. Any bags are subject to search.
